Difficult Times

In life we will encounter some difficult times. These difficult things happen to us so that the Glory and Power of God can be revealed. We may not be able to understand why certain things are happening at the time and we may never know why we have to go through them. But when we turn to God in the midst of difficult situations His glory will be seen on us. Stop running from your issues, own up to them, give them to God. We are too busy trying to handle the situations on our own or giving to others to try solving, when we need to just own up to whatever it is. Give it to God and wait. Be still stop being in a hurry. Just get in your quite place, have a little talk with Jesus, if you don't feel like talking just hummmmmmm. Our God will know what's going on. Stop running. The God we serve can do the impossible ,if you haven't tried Him please do.

Thank you for this encouragement. I am in the valley. And I do need to learn to "Be Still". I am teaching my eight-year old that we can't run from our problems, that we have to learn to deal with them. Yet in my grief, I have been trying to do just that, lace up my running shoes and try to run enough miles to escape the loss of my best friend, the man who meant everything to me in this world.

I know God will carry me through this difficult time. I need only be still.
