For what’s after this

Our minds cannot imagine

What’s after this

Our hearts can not compare

John showed us a glimmer

Promises foretold simmer

But what’s after this

Won’t unfold till we get there

And I just can’t wait till we get there

Verse 1

I’m homesick for a home I’ve never lived in

I yearn for a place I’ve never even been

I long for the arms that have so often held me

Though I know that day is coming, I just don’t know when

Verse 2

I can almost see sweet Mama singing with the angels

I can picture sister laughing with The King

I gladly give my life to the One who bids me, “Join Us!”

I wouldn’t miss it if it cost me everything!

 

The Father calls out to you, “Won’t you join us?”

He just can’t wait till we all get there!
