REINSTATING THE KINGDOM ORDER

Therefore we as the Church of Christ need to go back to the drawing board. We need to reinstate the kingdom order the way it belongs. We cannot anymore function in the Body of Christ as we did before.We found ourselves at a place where things are not working anymore.

Churches all over the world are closing down or if they are not closing down they are demonstrating a “hands up” attitude, adapting to the values of the sinful world around them. We need urgently to reinstate intercession the Body of Christ where it belongs.

Our attitude should be now: Seek first and then do later. No more is church programs going to save the day, but a church who seek God’s face first and then do as the Holy Spirit leads them.

And it is here where intercessors step in. They seek God’s face day and night and then the Holy Spirit lead the leadership on what needs to be done. In this way there is a practical correlation between the intercessors and the rest of the leadership team.

THE ARK
As intercessors pray they are putting their prayer requests at the altar of the Almighty God, submitting under the almighty hand of their Heavenly Father. This is what makes intercession such a dangerous task, for while the intercessor prays the intercessor is abiding in the presence of the Holy God the whole time.

They are giving their all, so much so that they are cornering in their lives to the extent that they only have enough time for their family and job responsibilities. For the non-intercessor this is difficult to understand as he or she goes about their daily lives with little time to spare.

Yet the intercessor understood something early on in his Christian life that gave him another perspective about life: IF YOUR PRIORITIES ARE NOT IN ORDER WITH THE HEAVENLY FATHER, THE REST OF YOUR LIFE WILL BE IN TURMOIL AS WELL.

It is then with this truth as the basis of their time management that their learnt to put their priorities in order so that they have sufficient time for their Messiah, their families and their jobs. Further on they also have learnt that there are social priorities and hobbies that steal their time, and as they cut those time wasters loose from their lives they have more time in which to spend time at the altar.

In doing so even their prayer life becomes an act of worship to their Savior while they are making an impact in the world around them with their intercession ministry.
