Is God handicap accessible? -dj eckert

Could it be that because we are so deaf,
that God waves and shakes His Hand right in front of our very dim lit eyes?

Do we see it?
or even recognize it?
or are we ALSO blind?

Or maybe could it be?
that we, who still have a little bit of vision to see
Just don't quite understand
the seemingly muted sign language
eminating from God's most sovereign loving Hand

Maybe some of these hand signals of God,
whose meanings
we tend to miss

Could include things like:
bad fortune
coincidence
or good luck's sweet, sweet kiss...

Or, a repeated phrase
Or a puzzling gaze
Or an unexpected laugh...

Or a missed important appointment
Or some other miscellaneous seeming gaffe

or ,
maybe it's just the timeliness of one of HIS creatures going across our path

It's funny though
We ALL seem to know
the hand gesture of HIM
showing US HIS wrath

Though God's language may be endless
HE's left great tools
for us deaf and for us blind

HIS WORD and prayer are our hearing aid and interpreter...
Which one is which though?

I still can't really decide
