I understand one Republican, running for President of the United States. Suggests restricting Muslims from entering the United States is best for America and shows leadership qualities consistent with some Republican voters. We are lead to believe, reported by the press. This candidate maintains a 30% favorable rating of likely Republican voters. Of course the press has yet to focus on where the 70% of Republican voters stand on this one issue.
While most of America’s are out shopping, drinking and eating their way to Jan 1st 2016. You talk with vigor on this year’s successes not a mention of the meaning of Christmas. It’s about the number of invitation to parties this year? Or, was it about which parties you attend. Maybe, the meaning is about the few dozen people fleeing the Middle East conflict, who died yesterday in the Mediterranean Sea. There’s a field just outside Mytilene, Greece, where Muslims whose dream of a new life is cut. A Man dug a children’s graves. It took seven hours. This man says he never saw a dead child before he started this work. He was asked to find out the fate of a family who crossed in October on a boat where 40 people drowned. Whatever could I be writing about?
The last few weeks have shown us men falling and stumbling over their flesh. Lead by the desires for money, sex, power and cruelty to others. Mankind’s contentment cannot establish a flesh filed heart. Rather, seeking the desires of the Lord provides contentment and a fulfilled Kingdom with delight. The pride of man will be humbled and the loftiness of men will be humiliate; And the LORD alone will be exalted in that day. (Isaiah 2:17)
The time for the Lord is now. Mankind sorrows weights heavy on my heart come and remove the pain of the prideful and haughtiness of men and women seeking not your ways. Shake the earth terribly to those who set their affections on things of the earth. It is folly for those who are pursued by the wrath of God, to think to hide or shelter them from it. (Isaiah 2)
