Encouragement
I would surmise you almost never ever think gleefully about your woes... but you should! No... not 'in denial', not to 'power through' it, not even the worldly 'suck it up, and keep moving' approach to addressing your woes.
Me? I dislike disruption. I dislike things 'out of the norm'. I dislike turmoil, tension, and the whole concept of 'trials and tribulation'. In the many years of my life, however, I have surrendered to the Lord's leading and purpose for these struggles. See... James 1:2 instructs us; "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations", which is certainly easier said than done, but once you get on the optimistic side of God's leading for your life (not resisting and/or being defensive), His peace will fill your very soul with such a calm and 'Satan, get thee behind me' attitude, that you'll soon morph that sour, fearful approach to your woes into a mild excitement at first... and eventually, genuine glee.
No, not a 'thrill' that your life has woes. Rather; not discourage by them, not afraid of them, and certainly not grumbling and disguising them! Remember, Isaiah 41:10 tells us; "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.", which is God's very promise to be there with you in that storm (the chaos), as well as strengthening you to endure and grow deeper and stronger in Him.
Trials, struggles, turmoil, and just plain 'ol disruptions are merely challenges facing us that help determine just how sincerely and loyally we actually trust the Lord. To be sure you are well equipped for your 'pending battle', or your upcoming struggle, and the conflicts in your day and plans, Psalms 139:10 reminds us; "Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.", which is such a wonderful confirmation that God is 'not' saying to you to 'be strong and come over here with Me', but rather... He's saying, 'grab my hand and let's go over there together'! His is a fellowship, companionship, and commitment to lead you... and that will certainly boost your life, such that you too will recognize, Woe is Me, Gleefully!
