Lord, I could have lived in your victory today...
but my big old "but"got in the way

Lord, I could have been your shining light ...
but my big old "but"was such a fright

Lord, I could have really believed the words YOU say...
but AGAIN I say , my big old "but" gets in the way

But at least I know that YOUR
"BUT" is bigger than mine.

"But God"...YOU have given me even more than this in YOUR WORD, oh so sublime!

So I really have no excuse...
and SHALL have great faith that MY big hindering unbelieving "but"
shall finally get behind
me today .
