Who do men say that I am?

There are many important verbs in our lives like the verb “to choose“ Along with the verb “to be” and “to have.” It can give us coordinates defining direction of our future lives. These verbs are founded on the verb “to know.” It can be decisive for what you are, what you will have in your life, and what is in front.

To know what you have to choose is an important moment in life, or whom to select can become decisive. This may be from simple choices, daily, or complex decisions which may determine the future in a large extent.

Same for individual possibilities can determine the evolution of society at any moment in history.

In all cases we are responsible and bear consequences of the decision act. On a personal level we all pay dearly for wrong conclusion. Life is not simple even our children can suffer, Former communist countries have understood this better. We can pay heavily for unlearned lessons in antiquity, in particular democracy, or the lack of it. I put special reference to democracy, because it offers more a substantial social and legal framework of elections. From one country to another, when the time of elections comes, entire human and social mechanism is set into motion.

It enters into a whirl with democratic flavor, when the need to know, to get answers touches even the most uninterested people. We wonder sometimes optimistic or pessimistic who to choose? Shall I elect him or go with a fresh approach, Or maybe the absenteeism.

For a period of several weeks, is a struggle for us to earn their trust. Certitude has become the axis of history, of your country for a moment in time. Your fingerprint has the power to give value for a precise moment. You are courted and they give you permission to speak. A simple man, an ordinary citizen can become an important part in decision-making.

Over several years he gets answers, beginning to understand whether they deserved him to put his hope in that direction or that person. We put our confidence in people to lead by example and we have expectations from them.

But often there is disappointed as they fail to live up to expectations. Promises not for filled, and trust becomes fragile. Often you can see what is fulfilled and the desire of their selfish needs. What do we ponder now about who we elected and sometimes about democracy in which we invested our time and trust, which can have direct impact on ourselves and our children.

This world is Mom for some, but a plague for others. Sometimes if you taste existence, you can pay with your own life.

For some this planet is one crazy playground for others it is gateway to fulfillment in their survival, singing songs of happiness as if every day was one big feast.

It seems others remain in the caravan of history, taking again and again from the beginning, what others choose for them. Waiting patiently their turn with hope and faith in receiving dried scraps from others.

We have every reason to think not optimistically. The world falters from foundation, Starting from political and economic levels taking roots in social, cultural, educational and last but not least on a moral level.

There is every reason to worry having in mind the prognosis and especially the sense that things have evolved. I have used the term “evolution” but I think more appropriate terms would be “involution“.

I also have used the term “to believe” although we have all started to not believe in anyone or anything. We use the verb “to trust” but our trust has very little in common with faith.

Firstly faith gives value to things in our inner forum. Thinking is structured and knitted perfectly. We start to invest in something or someone only if we believe in it. Then we wait for our acquisition to rise up to the level of our expectations. But too many times we forget that people are in fact the bearers of change. mankind usually remodel itself in time. And in addition are in the middle of material world struggles, In this fight we always will fall behind into second place. Often we turn our eyes towards man, looking only at a horizontal level.

We forget too many times that there is also another formula a vertical plan, There we discover true faith, with high levels of divine expectations. For there is One who has strong Words to say in this world. One who is not changing. He was, He is, and will be the same forever and ever. For in him is traits that never lied and kept all his promises. He said that investment of trust into mankind in this world can be uninspired and damaging. Why? Because the human heart is unspeakably bad and changing. He also said about this world that it “lieth in wickedness“.

He advised us not to cherish this world and anything from it. More than this he showed us that he knows the world where we live better, and provides all our needs. He believes that our greatest desires is to our personnel spiritual liberation.

Therefore he gave us a Savior, and urges us to rescue ourselves “from this bad generation.” He told us all “the world we will have trouble, and encourages us to dare because “He overcome this world.”

He knows us, and that we love material life. He set a blueprint of life and death and asked us to choose life, for us and our children. He knows us by name from the beginning, and has a book with titles of all voters voting. Even if the political system proposed by Him is a monarchy, he gathered everyone for election, and gives reasons to choose Him as divine King in their lives. Every man has value for Him from a single finger print to the eternal soul. He wants mankind to be joined by His Trinity into a divine relationship of trust. He proved His thoughts of peace with deep love to every soul. Every soul “made in his image“

But his Sphere is another world. He left it coming into a world of people, hoping to be chosen by every soul of mankind. Generation after eneration heard his simple message.

1 John 3:16

“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

He made known to all who He is, and what He wants from people, because He waits to be elected on the basis of trust. He presented Himself:

“I AM WHO I AM!”

Wanting souls to come back to Him on the “narrow path.” This path is indeed narrow but it is Just, you can easily become a lost sheep. He showed us “The Way”. Giving us an itinerary towards His glorious Kingdom, providing us everything that mankind needs to knock at the door and not lose any direction in spirit. He called us His sons swallowed up in a world full of “carob“.

He spoke that He is not far from us, and lets Himself be found by those who seek Him wholeheartedly, and has chosen Him once forever.

However:

1 Corinthians 1:21

“the world by wisdom knew not God in the wisdom of God”

All evidence is clearly seen and felt, and we are without excuse.

Romans 1:20

“is manifest in them, for they were revealed by God. In fact, His invisibleattributes, His eternal power and deity, are clearly seen from the creation, when you look careful in the things made. So they are without excuse.”

Some say that he really exists and is a great and loving God. The one and only living true Lord!

Others frown with their fist raised towards the sky:

What kind of God is this who shakes the earth through quakes. who lets death and disease spread like a vine, watching leaders corrupt others in his sight.

According with views of others, he does not even exist Since He does not show His face to be physically seen.

How can we believe in someone or something which we can’t see?

There are other opinions that say he is far. He deals with his own affairs, and we are left to squalor in material matters.

Or they say He is somewhere in the sky but everywhere; but its impossible to be everywhere and nowhere. But most people have only heard about Him and speculate and ridicule, it’s all fairy-tales.

Opinions and views…

But generally people do not love Him from all their heart. Because He does not support a democracy in which everyone does what he wants, or what he considers to be good, truth and with wisdom of life.

Yet He argues that human existence depends on it:

John 17:3

“to know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

We are talking about the divine meaning of life, with direct reference firstly to eternal life, but not only.

From His point of view this is logic of all things, life and human happiness depend on one vote. A vote made by faith once and for ever.

His people say that He has never lied. He has never disappointed those who elected Him. And His promises, no matter how unbelievable they are, He fulfills them to the letter.

He made everything to make Himself known, to install His electoral platform and initiated a whole electoral campaign. All His staff, had one mission:

Mark 16:16

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe be condemned.”

But also to preach the gospel will be followed by lots of good acts done in His name, including signs and wonders to benefit mankind one important point has to be noted. The goal of His election intertwines closely with the sense of his creation man. And has direct consequences on who has chosen Him which is to get him out from under the curse of sin originally, respectively, and to save the soul.

He wants this to be done today.

Because He had let only “one day “as the day of election.” A day like a century. But only today is our day!

But there is a man who knows Him, He was humble and not proud, wise and loving.

John 17:25

“Righteous Father, the world has not known thee; but I have known thee: and these have known that thou hast sent.”

He says He responded to the desires of His Father to make Himself known to world and chose God. He had accepted voluntary this mission because He loved mankind. Man’s life depended on him. This was the reason why He made knowledge His noble mission from above here in our world.

But things are more complex. This is not recognized by everyone. For now! Only by those who are His sons. People do not know how to appreciate who He is especially as he is the truth incarnate. Today people asks:

John 8:25

“Who are you?”

or more directly:

John 8:53

“Who do you think you are?”

Some say “He is prophet”, some say he is a teacher. And others give their view that He is an instigator, an imposter that made rebellion.

But he is Emanuel, this is His Christian name, and He is the Son of Man. He knew what questions to expect like:

Who is this Son of man?

He expected hostile attitudes including today, because He has had and still has part of the judgment of mankind. He does not lie. He never changed His word or His promises. In addition He had pity on those who do not know what they say or what they do. Today is the day of man. But tomorrow will be the day of The Son of Man. That day will be a terrible day. Then will come His turn to judge all those who did not want to know Him, those who had left Him outside when He had knocked on their door. Then their ears will hear something bluntly:

“Depart from Me, that I never knew you. And then it will be the weeping and teeth grinding. They will see who He is in fact the law.”

He has replied with sadness in His voice to the majority of people in these terms:

John 8:19

“You do not know me, nor Me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father. “

He also told us that through him He may make known God to us, because He Himself is the Son. Made in the image of God, with all his divine attributes, He could make the following statement:

John 12:45

“Who sees Me, sees Him who sent me.”

John 1:18

“No one has ever seen God; His only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. “

At one point He made a strong statement:

John 14:6

I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

What great things! Incredible! Hard to believe by our limited thinking.

But where rational showed its limits, faith can begin. He approached us as a candidate, and portrayed himself as an original leader. In His way He is a very unique candidate. He made known His views in a book, Breathing life into every page that He loves every man and for this truth He signed it with His own blood. Through His people He went with this book “door to door” and expected them to invite Him into their homes as their God. With an everlasting love He waits with patience for mankind decades. With restraint it makes you ponder that time is always on His side. He let us understand that He knows all about walking with human history.

He makes the final difference!

He calls each one of us by name and hopes that we will want to know Him, to enroll in His “party.” He does not want only the finger print of mankind for one day. He wants the heart of man, the whole of his soul, and to be known by his creation. Most people do not open the door to Him. But he knocks again, waiting hopefully. But in the end He will choose only a “remnant” of people, of those who have believed in Him and his promises. He always spoke about a new world, which is prepared for them. This will be His Kingdom, and His voters will be His nobleman. He said that His Kingdom is not of this world. It is a new reality, with a fresh constitution, current laws, different principles and new people. Even a new heaven and a reborn earth!

If we understand His word then he gives not only better bread or a better existence, but abundance in human life. It would be a huge loss not to choose this man. There His people will sing songs and celebrate as winners of the election! Moreover, there will not be questions or any doubts. He has said now “we know in part”, we see as looking into a mirror dimly, but when he comes it will be awash with light we will reach:

Ephesians 4:13

“The unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.”

When His time will come, then the elect will know Him face to face and will see all promises and electoral truth. He will give them the Spirit of God, His Father! This is the spirit of truth whom the world can not receive because they have not touched Him and have not thirst him. For the elect, he will stay with them till the end. He also said that when he appears, they will be like Him.

Until then He spreads His word and divine promises, “door to door” waiting new electors that will choose Him, but the day of election is going to end very soon. But you can still join His party. You need only your ID card of credence. He asks just faith in His Word and His election promises.
