Hebrews: 10:24 -“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.”

Somebody on Facebook shared this particular video of a poor man who collects papers lying on the roads and old posters. One day as he was collecting the papers, he saw a restaurant and stopped right there. He didn’t have much money on him to buy a meal, so he stood out and looked at all the customers. But a certain customer noticed this man watching. The shop keeper came out and chased the poor man away. The customer seeing that, he got an extra meal parceled and left the restaurant. The customer saw the poor man sitting near the restaurant, he immediately handed over the parcel to him. The poor man’s look was priceless. The customer did this for a while and the shop keeper noticed this.

Then one day as the customer came out with the parceled food to give the poor man. He couldn’t find him at the usual spot but when he turned to his right he saw a man dressed as a door keeper. It was no one other than the poor man himself. The shop keeper saw the heart of the customer and the kindness he showed towards the poor man. That inspired him to do something, so he made the poor man as an employee of his restaurant. It was such an inspiring video.

Every day we see many people on the roads, in our neighborhood and in other places who are looking for someone to show love on them. The same time when we do that act of kindness, we influence the people around us and most importantly the next generation. They get inspired with what we do and they follow that. That seed you plant grows into something big one day. It brings forth much fruit.

Dear friend, the world gives us lots of opportunities to help and inspire others. So let’s make that change by doing what Jesus has taught us to do. Do good unto others.

Dear Father in heaven,

We thank you for this day. We have taught us many things and let us follow You. Help us reflect You in our lives every day. In Jesus name. Amen
