What will we do in heaven?

If heaven mirrors god’s creation in Eden when all was very good, it will be a compelling time for the lord’s children. 

Corinthians 2-9

But as it is written:

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,

Nor have entered into the heart of man

The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

We will serve God with no more curse or sin.

Revelation 22:3-5

And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

We will behold his divine face with joy and his name shall be emblazoned on our foreheads. He will give us many gifts. What a marvellous privilege to finally have harmony with the creator, harmonised in heavenly places. Gardeners in God’s park the universe.

Matthew 25:23

“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”

Ephesians 2:6-7

“And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”

We will be stewards of planets, and the galaxy which is vast, exploring the infinite of space. Worshipping God in faithful service to the King of Kings. It will be paradise for us. Paradise means a park in Greek, and we will have access to the Tree Of Life.

Luke 23:43

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Revelation 2:7

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” 

Humans are not able to fully serve God in this life on Earth due to separation through sin. Take away the veil of sin, we go back to what we were created for a parallel of God to love him. Our eyes are closed at the moment, not knowing all of the mind of the creator, but the Lord will fully open them and we will learn, with a revived spirit.

Romans 11:34

“For who has known the mind of the Lord?

Or who has become His counselor?”

“Or who has first given to Him

And it shall be repaid to him?”

Isaiah 57:15

For thus says the High and Lofty One

Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:

“I dwell in the high and holy place,

With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,

To revive the spirit of the humble,

And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

So the Almighty tells us we will never stop learning, there will be no secrets, and importantly we will be reunited with loved ones and pets in our inherited Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 13:12-13

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Matthew 25:34

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

Boredom will be a thing of the past, we can establish we must love God, and our neighbour as our self. The two most important commandments and our job description on earth and in glorious heaven. Singing songs, music was created and given to us by God for our enjoyment and to venerate him. We will feast and eat with our wonderful Lord sitting on thrones.

Isaiah 25:6

“And in this mountain

The Lord of hosts will make for all people

A feast of choice pieces,

A feast of wines on the lees,

Of fat things full of marrow,

Of well-refined wines on the lees.”

Luke 22:30

“That you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Matthew 8:11

“And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.”

Living together as one, no separation from anyone again, celebrating heaven in joy, total happiness with the Angels.

Revelation 21:22

“But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.”

Mankind was always fashioned for something more to go home, as we are citizens of heaven.

John 14:1-3

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

So Christians know when we die we will be with the almighty and he surveys on all his sons, and we will be with Jesus Christ, dwelling in Gods mansionhouses, in a city designed by God, in a heavenly country in paradise. 

Psalms 33:13

“The Lord looks from heaven;

He sees all the sons of men.”

Acts 1:11

“Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Philippians 1:21-23

“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.”

John 14:2

“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

Hebrews 11:10

For he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Hebrews 11:16

“But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.”

Luke 23:43

“And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Helping God run the universe, worshiping with love, serving and fellowship without fear. Learning and gaining wisdom. Resting with the Lord, enjoyment, laughing and rejoicing sounds exciting and humbling at the same time. In heaven we can’t sin, and we will be made new with a resurrected body way superior than on earth.

1 Corinthians 15:38-41

“But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. Bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of thecelestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”

1 Corinthians 15:48-49

“As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.”

Having no human urges, or human feelings of boredom. Material, and physical things will not be in heaven only spiritual, and no wars and suffering ever again.

We will have no need for TV, Facebook, and computer games which can lead to addiction and temptation to sexual immorality. 

Some computer games allow you to be in character able to kill, incest and have orgies leading to sin.

God fulfils all longings in the human heart to satisfy, made new we will have a different way of thinkingand what enjoyment is.

Social media, TV, Facebook and violent games, while other human pursuits do not allow mankind to truly appreciate the image of our creator and what he stands for.

Take away material books of fiction to heavenly books from the author of grace.

Heaven and a time for prayer, godly shows not on TV, and a refrigerator of limitless food from the Lords table. TV is Satan’s chief weapon.

Ask yourself if you dwelled in paradise and heaven was a perfect place, would you actually want TV?

Death is not the end, god has always had a plan for his children.
