WISDOM WISE

All of us living in these last days are certainly in need of wisdom and understanding in how to live everyday life, for as the time comes nearer to the coming of Jesus Christ we are living in an environment that were alien to us until a few years ago.

 We no longer know how to conduct ourselves in an orderly kingdom manner, for even the Church of Christ seemed to be succumbing under the pressures of the worldly manner of doing things. Nearly every sin under the book is now acceptable and if you were to pass your opinion about what is occurring you are to be stoned in the name of “grace’.

 How and where are we to get the wisdom and understanding we need in order for us to stay faithful to the truth in our daily everyday lives? The answer is found in the beautiful scripture of Proverbs 2: 6-9

 “For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair –every good path.”

 Thus through the above scripture it is quite evident that the only place we will receive our wisdom and understanding is at the feet of Jesus. We need to get more intimate with our Bridegroom in order for us receive the “know how” we need in the time to come.

 For it is evident that the situation we found ourselves in as the Bride of Christ shall only worsen. There is absolutely no doubt about it. We do not have the luxury of neglecting our private time with our King of kings where we sit daily at His feet.

 We need it more desperately than food and water, for only in His presence we shall receive all of the power of His Spirit, His knowledge and His understanding to teach us in how to conduct ourselves according to the kingdom principles outlined in His Word as well as the strength to make the right choices that we need to make in times like this.

 Therefore we cannot miss one moment at the feet our Master and Friend. Our motto should be: “First at the feet of my Savior before I go out to live my everyday life.” At the end it is all that really matters as we are nearing the end of this time and age.
