The feel is numb
So I become quite dumb
the stab and then the twist of knife
I slowly ebb seemingly out of life
Where do I go from here?
Wait, does God really care?
I quietly scream the questions
Hopelessly waiting for a mention
Maybe, don’t take it so real
It’s all but a dream
But the more I wish it away
The more it stays in my way
My soul tires from endless cries of anguish
Really the pain must be banished
Lest I crumble and squash
Cause, definitely it’s not lush
Let God arise then
And deliver me out of this den
Let God arise now
And snatch me from the lion’s jaw
Let God arise please
And secure my eternal release
