He, the source of life, offers direction:
Lord of day and, sometimes, by reflection
serves the night; or gives the storm a rainbow.
He, the Light, provides all health and growing,
sheds His warmth to thaw all coldness; throwing
shadows, glowing soft within His halo.
He, the spring of energy, emerging
fresh with dawn to set our spirits surging.
Enlightened, we behold what he has done,
and, opening wide our lives, welcome the Son.
