Where Has the Grace Gone?

Where has the grace gone

My hope needs restored

I need strength to battle

for peace that's secure

At times I just wonder

If God hears my prayers

I cry out in anguish

for someone who cares

Then faith well within me

God's Word comes alive

I read in the scriptures

How Christ gave His life

When in my dark moments

I feel all alone

I hold to the promise

That I have been shown

God said He won't leave me

That's what I hold too

Then light shines in darkness

Brings mercies anew

So when I feel helpless

and burdened with grief

I know joy is coming

If I'll just believe
