Luke Warm Heart
Sitting silent, neither hot nor cold
Not ashamed or shy, just not being bold
My luke warm heart is struggling
Day to day living, always juggling
My faith is still solid and strong
I still know right from wrong
Sitting here on the sidelines waiting
Not sure where I should be participating
Ignoring or waiting for the call
Not sure why it is that I stall
A passionate heart on a low flame
With no one else but myself to blame
Fire up this luke warm heart
Give my passion a jump start
Fill me up with Your Holy Fire
Free me from this funk in which I’m mired
Renew my spirit, let it burn brighter
Rekindle the strength of this stagnant fighter
Too long have I lingered in this state
No longer do I desire to sit and wait
