Did the person I told you that I was
Determine the way you think I have become?
While its part of who I am,
Its not who I am becoming now
While my Past was me,
The choices I made can never be
Undone by you or me,
However, they can be covered in Jesus’ blood
The Perfect Lamb sent from the Father God
I’ve now found the beauty
of mercy from the Son
The beauty of no Sin,
Being free to enter in

Now that horrid past I spoke of once in shame
Has become the very way, I shall proclaim
The Goodness of God’s love to others very plain
So don’t look at past and try to judge
For God has changed my past
Into something of Beauty, something made to last
I am an intricate part of His design,
For without the Tests of life,
That I freely chose to take
I would have no Testimony
And would simply be a FAKE
