The trumpet, at long last had sounded.
The Lord's Church had been whisked away.
Taking those in Christ who were grounded,
and who were waiting eagerly for that day.

After saying thank you to my Savior,
I sought to renew old ties that bind.
I found my husband, daddy and others,
but you, I could not find.

I ran through crowds so joyous.
Tears of parting just a dull memory.
I turned again to find Jesus,
to tell Him, that you I did not see.

He turned as if He knew I was coming.
You see, He knew you were on my mind.
Tears in my eyes were now overflowing.
His tears told me that you were left behind.
