Roeing in the deep vs. Wadeing in the shallow (condensing Matthew 24:12)- dj eckert

What if love in this country was water?
What if the force that kept our country full of this flowing "water",
was the loving hedge of protection that came from the FATHER?

What if this hedge came down with Roe v Wade?
When we passed US a law that God strictly forbade!

Would our land soon be parched?

What if the only new love
flowing into the land,
came through human tears,
and NOT by God's hand?

Tears of gratefullness and thanksgiving and
tears of great pain ,
Tears of mourning and sadness now, our only rain

Tears of love from above
Tears of sacrifice and joy
Tears because the new raindrop;
It's a girl!
It's a boy!

Would our land soon be parched?

Would the evaporating heat grow hotter and hotter?
With each and every non- loving and self serving slaughter?

Would our land soon be parched?

The puddles would disapear and creeks and streams would run dry,
as God's creatures continued to lose their ability to cry

Though there still would be rivers, and oceans and great lakes of love,
their levels would ever dissipate,
slowly but surely,
evaporating the love,
with every single donning of the cold killing blue glove

As the love grows dry,
then so would the tears,
and we'd find our land parched in a limited number of years

Would we then be staring at that parched tree that Jesus most concernedly warned us about ?,
EVEN right before he was crucified !
(Ought not THAT simple point tell US this is a very BIG
DEAL?) when he said :
"... stop weeping for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For behold, the days are coming when they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never nursed.' Then they will begin to say to the mountains , 'Fall on us ,' and to the hills , 'Cover us .' For if they do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?" (Luke 23:28-31 NASB)

Luckily for US though,
God's love, It ever abounds
If we turn to HIM and repent,
HIS rainstorm pours down!.
Thanks be to THE LOVING LORD !

Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold.
