Home

In the stillness of the night

I dream of going home

Where there's perfect peace and love

And God is on His throne

Where sin can't enter human hearts

and Satan can't defile

A place where righteousness prevails

No room for speech with guile

Friends and loved ones gather there

Who've been redeemed by blood

Their names are in the book of life

and sealed with grace and love

With old acquaintance not forgot

and fellowship so grand

No fightings, quarrels in that place

Perfection rules that land

So I lay my head to rest

and dream of going home

I rest with Jesus in my heart

Who claimed me as His own
