I’m the sugar in the coffee pot
The peanut butter in the butter
I wonder where my place will be
I’m the drop of paint in the wrong bucket
I’m the shooting star among the stars
Oh where do I shine my Lord?
What season will I shine?
In this black and white world
When will I find my rest?
When will I arrive at my destiny?
To find my place, in you oh Lord
I search but cannot find
Send me strength
To find where I belong
For my time has not arrived
Inspire me to stay alive
To carry on until I find
The color of my peace
In this black and white world
