MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES!

It’s no longer news that life is not fair; life never gives you what you deserve but only offers you what you demand! Life seems to present only two options: it’s either you exploit or you’re exploited! To successfully travel the paths of life and fulfill your destiny, there are certain things you require as a believer. If these essential things are lacking in you, there’s no way you can achieve success or live a victorious life as a child of God, you’re likely to be exploited in the journey of life.

Like the eagles, God’s children are meant to be special breeds. The ‘God factor’ is a key factor that should clearly distinguish believers from the people of the world. As a believer, you’re not expected to suffer the same fate with the world. Job 22:29A says ‘When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up’. How do you live a distinguished life of victory and dominion where others are failing and falling? How do you soar above limitations and barriers where others are restricted and limited? There’s no other way to demonstrate the new life in Christ than by all round victorious living.

To be victorious in life, one of the essential things you need is vision. You can never become what you’ve not envisioned, vision is what gives meaning to your life! Vision is that insight that enables you to see opportunities before they become evident; it is that divine instinct that makes you see success where everyone else sees failure; vision empowers you to see beyond the present and enables you to not live only for the present. It’s a pity that a lot of believers are living below expectations all because they are visionless. Like an eagle, you must begin to see far as you shine the eyes of your spirit to see into great and endless possibilities.

In addition to vision, another critical success factor in the journey of life is speed. God’s children are not supposed to be crawlers but highfliers. However, to travel through the rough and hilly paths of life with the speed of an eagle, you need God’s strength. So many people believe so much in their own wisdom, abilities and strength, they seem to have forgotten that by strength shall no man prevail. The secret of unending strength is waiting upon the Lord. Waiting upon the Lord means every aspect of your life is defined by God; it’s when you’re powered by God that you can mount up with wings as eagles, run and not be weary, and walk and not faint.

Your position as a child of God is not with the commoners. The scripture in Ephesians 2:6 says ‘And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus’. Christ has given you the same position He has with the father. If you’re truly seated with Christ in the heavenly places, you can never be a crawler; you’re meant to soar high above sin, sickness, shame, curses, failures and challenges of life. If you’ve truly yielded your life to Christ, you should realize that you’re carrying the gene of the Almighty God right inside of you, and with that gene, you’re bound to soar high with wings as eagles above the forces of darkness and the world. Say ‘NO’ to any force that attempts to cage you; break off from every limitation; mount up with wings as eagles!
