Luke revealed, All that Jesus began both to do and to teach
Until The Day He was Taken Up, how many He did reach
After He, through The Holy Spirit, had given Commandments
To The Apostles, He had Chosen, to share in His Absence
To whom, He revealed Himself, Alive, after His Suffering
By many Infallible Proofs, being seen by Them during
Forty Days, speaking of the things pertaining to The Kingdom
To The Kingdom of God Almighty, which surely is to come
My Brethren, I, Paul, declare to YOU, The Gospel, which I Preached
Which YOU Received, in which YOU Stand, by which YOU are Saved, He Reached
Know, Jesus Christ died for Our sins, according to The Scriptures
He was buried, was Raised, Alive, The Third Day, per The Scriptures
He was seen by Peter, then by His Disciples, Assurance
And then He was seen by over Five Hundred Brethren at once
After that He was seen by James, then by All The Apostles
Last of all, He was seen by Paul, the least of His Apostles
Luke continued, and being assembled together with Them
Do not depart from Jerusalem, Jesus Commanded Them
But to wait for The Promise of The Father, which, Jesus said
YOU have heard from Me, John truly Baptized with water, He said
But YOU shall be Baptized with The Holy Spirit, said Jesus
So, when They had come together, His Disciples asked Jesus
Lord, will YOU at this time, Restore The Kingdom to Israel
He said, it’s not for YOU to know Times or Seasons, Israel
That which God, The Father, has put in His Own Authority
But YOU shall Receive Power, through The Holy Spirit, from Me
When He has come upon YOU, YOU shall be Witnesses to Me
In Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, All to Me
And to the ends of the Earth, YOU shall be Witnesses to Me
Now, when He had spoken all these things, while They watched, They did see
Christ was Taken Up, and a Cloud Received Him, out of Their Sight
And while They looked toward Heaven, as He went up, out of Their Sight
Behold, Two Men stood by Them, in White Apparel, who then said
Men of Galilee, why stand gazing up towards Heaven, They said
This same Jesus, who was Taken Up, from YOU into Heaven
Will come, in like manner, as YOU saw Him go into Heaven
Witnesses to The Truth, Who shared with Us, what They knew as fact
We share the same Truth, We Preach The Gospel, to make an impact
God’s Amazing Saving Grace, through God’s Free Gift of Salvation
Redemption, from The Crucifixion to The Resurrection
Forty Days, after His Resurrection, came His Ascension
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, Believers share with everyone
