By request God’s Angels
Gently stroke their wings
Stirs the air about your head
While other Angels sing
Sitting all about you
With piercing eyes they stare
Evil can’t come though your door
When you’re in the Angel’s care

They dance with glee around you
In gestures back to God
The evil flees
For it can see
Where the Angels trod

They drag their wings
To clean the way
Just doing as God bids
Your heavens pride
The Angels cry
And you are safely hid

The evil one who only hates
Would have your soul for him
But God displays
His sword of state
Are your Seraphim’s.

When your head rest tonight
No your Angels there
Your fears erased
For you’ve been placed
Into his Angels care.
