“When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.” (Ps. 138:3)

Jesus was not timid when He faced the Pharisees
He loves His Father and He stood up for His Father’s Purpose

Nothing about Jesus is timid
He is the Lion of Judah
The boldness of Jesus was driven
By His love for God—
We should therefore not confuse human bravado with
The purpose of God the Father—
Some of us act brave but have never been open with the Lord!

Our power comes from the Holy Spirit
God knows that we need power and He is willing to give it
Yet there are some Christians who claim to have power
But have nothing—all they have is a form of it and the result is called RELIGION

Being lukewarm should not be part of a Christian’s life
Because the Holy Spirit gives us power—
In the 21st century, we need His Power more than ever before
Because the day will try to destroy the way of Jesus so
We should not be timid when we face our problems
We must act boldly and take that step because
Our salary is not our God—our job is not our God

The Holy Spirit must give us boldness and
We should not get our own boldness from our own human bravado
Peter is a prime example of this,
“Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you” (Mark 14:31)
Yet we know what happened afterwards…

God must give us the boldness
Hatred must not give us the boldness

Nothing about Jesus is timid
He is the Lion of Judah
The boldness of Jesus was driven
By His love for God
