A LITTLE BOY

One day a little boy
sat in front of me,
this is what
I was supposed to see.

Everybody has a heart to give
everybody needs a heart to share,
were the words written
in a heart that cared.

To this day
I know not his name,
but from that moment on
nothing seemed the same!

Steve--you know I had to read it through again, because your timeless poems are not as simple as they seem. The underlying honest blade, I find it never seems to fade. So true.
