Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will exalted in the earth.
There are many times in one's life the winds and waves of life are as fierce as a raging storm on the high sea. These storms will cause us to call on the Lord in prayer and even after having a midnight talk with God we have to take a step back and say, soul don't worry; the Lord will make a way somehow.
We live in a fallen world because of sin, and we will encounter the storms of life; what do we do? We take the problem to the Lord in pray while remembering who He is and His awesome powers. We are encouraged to meditate on the words in today's scripture text; He has the last word.
The God of our salvation can and will say to the troubles of our soul, be still.
