Maybe this is a WORD for you today, if it is,,, you'll know...........
Someone degrades or insult you, your kids, or family members....you blood starts to boil quickly and you are not going to take it 1 second longer,,,,,,,
while they are still speaking,,,,,,, you burst out with built up venom spewing what you feel is righteous indignation, you're sure you are in the right for protecting your or your family's honor......
but actually according to scriptures (Galatians 5: 22 & 23) ,,,,,a better word for it is.... lack of Godly peace and temperance (self-control, controlling your temper)....... and "temperance" by the way, is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit....
Now, before you know it you have gone above and beyond what you should have said and you locked in a battle of ugly words with your accusers....... which also by the way.... is exactly where Satan wants you....... ever been there? ....

Look folks, anyone can go ballistic in defense of their own or their loved ones honor,,,,, and Most do,,,,, (I have been there to be sure)
but as Christians, let us remember this scripture...... Isaiah 53: 7 "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, but He opened not His mouth,"... in His own defense. This is the way Jesus handled it, and so should we.

Listen, the Lord says that "Offenses Will Come, it is inevitable," but before you go postal on someone next time, if you can't seem to keep from arguing your point, then at least try this.......... " A soft (kind) word turns away wrath.." Proverbs 15 :1.
