“PRAISE the LORD. ,,,,,Praise him all his angels, praise him, all his host! (Psalm 148) “Let everything that breathes praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150)
-Words are never wasted in Scripture. If the psalmist commands the angels to praise the Lord in psalm 148, for example, it must be because we as believers have the authority to set off chain reactions of praise on earth and even in heaven where there is an abundance of praise being offered anyway. There must be angels poised to praise in some additional way, waiting for our command so that they can be employed at our word spoken to them in exclamations of faith. And imagine when we add this scriptural exhortation: “praise the LORD forever!” I don’t know of anything that we could declare from our hearts in faith that could have more impact (“pact” remember is covenant) than words like these! These are covenant kind of words spoken by believing human beings from the heart and with authority to move angels and planets and all that has breath upon the earth!
When we feel weak and helpless especially, let us remember this power and privilege that we have….
