Don't grieve for me,
I'm where I want to be.

I'm with friends and family.
Oh, I know that you will miss me
And shed a lot of tears.
But remember one day soon,
We will all celebrate up here.

Jesus did prepare a place for me,
And I'll be waiting for all of you.
And we'll fill this mansion with laughter and love.
And they'll be no more tears,
No more pain, no more heartache
Just complete and wonderful joy.
In the most beautiful place you've ever seen,
When you come walking through Heaven's Door.

So don't grieve for me
Because I'm happy and I'm healed.
And even if I could come back,
You know I'd stay right here.
Just always keep remembering,
We'll all be together again.
Celebrating on these streets of gold,
To spend Eternity with Him.

So I love you and I'm waiting,
I will greet you at the Gate.
I'll take your hand and walk with you,
To meet Jesus face to face.
So don't grieve for me,
Just make sure you get here.
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
And we'll walk these streets forever.
