A cloudy sky, it’s cryptic
With everything underneath that’s sick
A world torn apart by storms we can’t predict
Nothing to do with weather, but whether or not humanity risks

Holding steady to a phenomenon
Sticking with the dark horse they rode in on
Like black magic they’re cursed
Not knowing the materials they acquire make them worse

Everything can rot and rust
Before you know it, we’ll all be dust
The physical is subliminal at best
Which is why the enemy wants you to fail the spiritual test

Do you believe in yourself
What drives you to acquire a sense of wealth
Does your dream and goal hinder your health
How are so many allowing ethics and morals to go stealth

The zombie apocalypse is already upon us
Giving free access to be brainwashed without fuss
So many walking blindly after the flesh
No sense of purpose just desire to follow the trends to mesh

Times have changed, but definitions should not
I don’t see much truth and love, it’s like we’ve forgot
Many new ideas have been a blight on society
Going forward with reckless abandon for the slightest notoriety

There are plenty antagonists trying to intrude with their plot twists
I’ve found it hard to truly enjoy any new experience
The surrounding ways of torture have betrayed my confidence
Far too hard to breathe normally while witnessing all the ignorance

All these lemmings jumping off the cliff
Going for the ride of suicide without realizing their gifts
Each shift someone contemplates how much they want to quit
It’s sad that so many think there’s nothing worth preventing it

The secret isn’t under lock and key
It is out in the open for the entire world to see
Just so many choose to look elsewhere
Resulting in their continued misconception that nobody cares
