Broken dreams, and empty promises.
Another soul lost to the darkness, being guided by God's opposite. People hold on to the nothingness masked as a cultivated richness, given the illusion that life ends at death. Live for the moment, chase a sinner's wealth. People let the devil get under their skin, corrupt their minds and colour-coat their sins. Live hard and party even harder, a fools blindfolded reality. You have to have fun to truly be free. This is where people have it all wrong, DUI as the devil tags along. The ultimate lie disguised as make-believe, that there is more than enough time to settle your score with the Prince of Peace. Be careful of the lies, keep them at bay. Don't be an innocent victim becoming worthless prey. The devil doesn't care whether you are his or not; he just wants to guide your attention away from God, for power is yours in the fullness of Christ, power to push all evil aside. Hold on to the Truth, the Way and the Life; glorify God, glorify Christ. When all seems lost and you feel betrayed, hold your hands to the sky, to the cross that was stained. No more lies; truth guides the righteous. Be set free, by The One who deems you priceless.
