As I sit here this early morning,
With paper and pen in my hand.
I ask the Good Lord to use me,
For a Blessing to flow from this pen.

To put down words of encouragement,
To say something that is kind.
To give someone a ray of hope,
So they too can see your Son Shine.

I Pray my writings will be a Blessing,
With every stroke and word from this pen.
That one word or phrase of words,
Will bring someone closer to Him.

That one word or words, will speak volumns
Will give light of the Son Shine overhead.
That they will come to know Jesus,
From just the strokes of my pen.

So I Pray to you Sweet Jesus,
To anoint the writing of my hand,
To continue to draw someone closer,
With every Blessed stroke of my Pen.
