Oh, woe is me, how shall I continue
There is no hope, without this job, I am nobody
How can I go on, no money, no going forward

What will the neighbors say
My societal friends, my status in the society
How can I continue without my precious job?

How shall I pay these mounting bills?
No way out of this quagmire, these dark thoughts
The children’s school fees, how do I feed my family?

Losing that pregnancy after waiting so long
Losing my precious spouse, my best friend
How can I go on alone in the world, oh… help!

Of depressive feelings and drowning emotions of despair
Where is my help, where is my succor and strength
How do I survive this addiction that is destroying ALL around me
