Big red flower,
How it blooms.
It brightens up
The evening's gloom.

Like a bird
That spreads its wings,
The flower opens
And beauty springs.

How delightful,
Such beauty.
That God should give
To you and me.

Now you see it,
Now you don't,
Last for ever?
No, it won't.
