God has not treated us,
The way we do deserve;
Yet we still raise a fuss,
Showing our bold nerve.

He has not paid us back,
For all we have done wrong;
Obedience we lack,
With Him we don't belong.

As high as the Heaven,
Are far above the earth;
The vast mercy given,
Much more than we are worth.

As far as of the east,
In being from the west;
God still has let us feast,
Though not done our best.

For I tell you these facts,
Since we have not improved;
Of the rebellious acts,
The Lord still has removed.

A compassionate Father,
And watching each child;
As we go out thither,
With acting so wild.

Compassion for who fear,
Giving mercy and grace;
For His love is so dear,
And willing to embrace.

The Lord knows who we are,
And what we are made of;
Seeing every scar,
That He heals with His love.

God always bears in mind,
That we are merely dust;
Willing to remain kind,
In spite of our lust.

Praise the Lord O my soul,
For compassion on my guilt;
I let Him in control,
So a bridge can be built.
