Enoch the grand-father of Noah loved God, was faithful to God, and was favored by God. He walked with God every day of his life with a desire to please God. Even in the midst of a wicked and dark world during his time, Enoch proved through his own life that it was possible to live as a bright and powerful light in his generation. His life is an encouragement to us all, that we can live as we ought to live, and live pleasing God, as a natural and normal way of life.

Going to bars, night clubs and strip clubs is a natural and normal way of a person's life who does this every day, every weekend, or every chance they get. Regular fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, will influence you into inheriting their habits and thought process concerning moral values, and right and wrong. The more you fellowship with them, the more their lifestyle becomes a natural and normal lifestyle for you.

In the same way, the more you fellowship with God, the more you read and study the word of God, and the more you do the things that are required of you by God, your walk with God in Christ, will become a natural and normal way of life.

What makes it difficult for a man to please God, is when he does not want to let go of the things that are contrary to the marvelous light he was brought into - "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (I Peter 2:9).

Living for God is as natural and normal as behaving yourself on your job, according to the guidelines and policies set forth in the employee handbook. You are aware of the do's and don'ts, because you are always conscience of the do's and don'ts, therefore taking every precaution to not violate your employer's policy. Is this not the same mind we should have in our walk with God?

Living for God should be a natural and normal way of life, with no thoughts of violating the oath we made to Him, when we first stood before Him in godly sorrow, promising that we will do our best to please Him. Oh, how quickly an oath is forgotten.
