Open the righteous gates,
To give me purity;
Your mercy compensates,
For the iniquity.

So I will go through them,
And give thanks to the Lord;
For You would not condemn,
With what I have endured.

This is the gate of God,
Through which righteous enter;
As they honor and laud,
To flee from the tempter.

I give thanks to the Lord,
Because You answer me;
My cries are not ignored,
As I go speak my plea.

For You are my Savior,
And I was selected;
For You found favor,
That others rejected.

You are the cornerstone,
Of my faith and my trust;
Because of you alone,
Always been fair and just.

You are responsible,
And amazing to see;
Merely how beautiful,
You made the heart in me.

Because this is the day,
That our Lord has made;
Let us be glad this way,
Rejoice and not afraid.

I walk the sunny path,
Joyful and positive;
For I am spared the wrath,
To eternally live.
