You were once dead,
Because of sin;
In your death bed,
Corrupted within.

You had failures,
Following ways;
For behaviors,
And as one strays.

You followed ways,
Set here on earth;
By one who sways,
As if more worth.

Ruler of those,
Who refuse God;
As darkness flows,
For they are flawed.

We all once dwelled,
With these people;
They never held,
Faith in Gospel.

The desires,
Of their natures;
Corrupt fires,
Of ill features.

Corrupted thought,
That they construe;
Evil they sought,
To confuse you.

Anger from God,
That we deserve;
We do not laud,
No longer serve.

But His mercy,
God and His grace;
He hears the plea,
For His embrace.

Back from the dead,
After Christ died;
To live instead,
When crucified.
