Rejoice O' heart, God is in control,
of the matter that's gone before
And it's being worked out without a doubt
for with him it's no big chore
Just look beyond the dark clouds
Let your eyes capture the sun
put away your fears and just rejoice
until his job is done
God is a defense in the darkest hours,
a towering of strength when frail or weak
He is sweet music through times of sadness
and there each day of the week
O' Lord inspire me while I'm waiting
Fill me with songs of pure delight;
so I won't question why things did happen
for you are able to make things right
I count every day as a blessing
even the times when I can't see;
but you're in the midst of the troubles
making the way clear for me
So know O' heart God does his part
He gives place for the rising sun
and this inspires my soul to see and know
that sweet victory is after the run
You see everything is in God's hands
so we can rest as we ride it out
and be thankful for being in his care
while we're on this holy route
