Anxiety is to be in suspense in regards to the uncertainty of how an event or situation will turn out. With everything that is going on today, it is enough to make anyone worry about tomorrow, and wonder about the future. But no matter how bad things may get, we must still trust that God will keep us and provide what we need in order to survive, and this is the peace which passes all understanding.

It is the highest peace beyond human comprehension. It is the peace we have when we are not anxious about the cares of this life. It is the peace we have after we have gone to God in prayer, given everything to Him, and have confidently left it with Him, without worrying any further. It is the peace in knowing that your life is in the hands of a wise God you know you can trust. And because you trust Him, you know that He will grant unto you those things that are good for you to have, in due time.

Whatever your concerns are, make them known unto God, for there isn’t anything man can do. Express and explain everything to God, and then leave it in His hands to work it out for you, giving thanks for what He will do for you. Prayer is the means by which we can talk to God about anything, even for what we need.
