On November 10, 2013 Heidi Mund was at home when she heard about the interfaith musical to be held at the Memorial Church of the Reformation in Germany. The church was built as a memorial to honor Martin Luther. It represents the spiritual transformation that took place in Germany during the protestant reformation.

The program was a interfaith peace concert to bring Christianity and Islam together. When Heidi heard that there would be a Muslim Imam there to open the event with a call to prayer she asked the Lord if she should go there in protest? She lived over an hour and a half away so she thought about not going. Surely someone else would go and stand up for Jesus.

After much prayer Heidi knew what she had to do. She grabbed her flag with the words “Jesus is the lord.” Heidi called a friend and asked him if he would be willing to drive her to the church. It was a long drive and she didn't know what she would do when they arrived but she was prepared to do whatever God wanted her to do.

She made her way up to the balcony, Heidi states that when the Imam began his call to prayer she felt a holy anger raising up within her, then she unfolded her flag “Jesus is the Lord” and yelled out. “Jesus Christ is Lord over Germany---I break this curse!” She then repeated the words of Martin Luther after he refused to recant his faith in Scripture alone. “Here I stand, I can do no other!”

A woman rushed to her side and stated: “This is a concert for peace!” Heidi yelled, “No it's not! Allah Akbar is what Muslims are screaming while they murder people! Don't be fooled! This is a lie!”

Security finally reached the balcony and she was thrown out of the church. When she was later asked how she felt about being thrown out of the church she said, “They should have thrown the Imam out of the church and not me because I'm a believer in Jesus Christ but he serves another God.”

Why did Heidi go? She said, “I feel I have to protect my country and my people, I'm only a little woman but I feel I have to protect them. I don't know why people are not standing up in this country of ours? An Imam has no place in a Christian church.

Here is a little woman who dared to stand up against the invasion of Islam within our churches, governments, schools, and universities. She was asked, aren't you afraid of the Muslims? Her response, “I can only say no, I'm not afraid of them---I know my God, the living God of the bible can protect me as long as he want's, when my time is over I will go to Him.” (you can watch her confrontation on you tube by typing in her name.)

Heidi was one little light that stood against darkness when there should have been thousands! Most of us here in America have been placed in a spiritual prison of political correctness conditioned to remain silent. If we don't like the smell of things we just put on more cologne and go about our business.

At what point do we stand up? Christianity is under attack from Social Liberals, Communism, Islam, Atheists, and Judicial court decisions. In other parts of the world Christian's are being slaughtered and their heads heads displayed like victory trophies. The enemies of Christ are no longer hiding, they are on the move, hostile, and treacherous. We need soldiers to stand up, speak up, and raise the banner of Christ.

Where are the radical Christians? Many Christians today think it's pretty radical if they just get to church a few times a week, sing a hymn, shake a few hands, say a few God loves you's and call it worship. The time for playing church is over! We need spirit filled activists like Heidi Mund who will lead a passive resistance against evil and those who ridicule Christ and His word.

If those behind your pulpit are silent and fearful of speaking up encourage them to speak out against the anti-Christian forces who are killing our brothers and sisters. When Nazism rose it's ugly head in Germany the churches were silent. When the Nazi's shut down the Jewish stores and placed the yellow Star of David on Jews like a cattle brand there was no resistance, no complaints, very few had the moral courage to speak out against evil and those who put God above Hitler paid a high price for their boldness.

Philosopher George Santayana had it right when he said, “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” I really, really, can't stress how important this statement is for today. Radical Islam and Nazism are walking down an all to familiar path. They both sought out the destruction of Jew's and Christian's, They both strove for world domination, They both used any means necessary to force their opinions on others, oppose them and you were either killed or jailed. They both believed in a culture of death, to die for Hitler or to die for Islam is the ultimate sacred sacrifice and both of their ideologies are spread through violence.

Christian's around the world better wake up to what is taking place in America. Another shameful example of this unholy mixture took place on 11-14-14. The Voice of America reported that American Muslims were invited to the Washington National Cathedral to offer prayers to Allah. This church is known in Christianity as “America's House of Prayer.” This is one of the most prominent Episcopal churches in America and has hosted many presidential funeral's and inauguration----related prayer services.

The church was virtually turned into a mosque in which Muslim's placed their prayer rugs toward Mecca and had all the crosses or other Christian symbols covered. Even the lights that illuminated the crosses were turned off because Muslims are not suppose to pray in view of sacred symbol's “alien to their faith.”

The goal was to encourage greater acceptance between Christianity and Islam. Kinda of reminds me of an old Woody Allen saying: “The lion and lamb may lie down together, but the lamb won't be getting much sleep!” There is no hope for any sheep that strays away from the shepherd and makes his bed in a lions den.

We should not be compromising our faith in the name of interfaith services, social tolerance or a one world religion. The German Christian's walked into church with the Nazi flag hanging from their steeples and still sang, prayed, and preached while these dark forces were silently working to destroy Christianity and establish their own kingdom.

There is an old Christian song written by George Duffield in 1858 with these words: “Stand up, Stand up, for Jesus ye soldiers of the cross. Lift high His royal banner, it must not suffer loss, from victory unto victory, his army shall He lead, till every foe is vanquished, and Christ is Lord indeed.”

How many of us are willing to leave everything behind and enter the army of Christ? How many of us are spiritually prepared for the battle that is coming? The table of persecution is already being prepared for all those who claim the name of Christ. We can see what is happening to our brothers and sisters around the world and unless America has a Nineveh moment we will suffer the same fate soon.

We can either stay hidden and silent or we can stand up for Jesus and lift His royal banner like Heidi Mund. It's time to rise up O' mighty Church of God. Rise up!
