The paganization of our world.

The whole of mankind in the present world may have been 'converted' to paganism without even realising it.

Paganism is mostly associated with the ancient Greeks and Romans and is a collective term for the various religions of the 'dark ages'. Its main characteristic is the non-belief in one God which makes it a form of Idolatry.

Jesus Christ in His first coming set about the restoration of true worship and a reconciliation and reconnection of Man with God. This is supposed to help prepare mankind for His(Jesus) coming Kingdom.

However not long after the ascension of Jesus back into heaven, the devil through the spirit of the antichrist set about demolishing and destroying every Truth that Jesus came to teach and establish with the result that after so many centuries and after much Light the world is gradually but steadily been dragged back into 'darkness'.

The devil's main objective is to displace Christ and usurp His position as the Prince of princes.

First let's start with the name Christ - the 'Christ' in most words that supposedly have to do with Jesus Christ (e.g christian and christmas) have been craftily displaced and replaced with an 'X'. 'X' represents an unknown quantity or entity so why would it be used instead of Christ? Is Christ unknown? Is 'X' in anyway an abbreviation for Christ as some are made to assume?
What's wrong with keeping the Christ in christian and christmas? You may think it doesn't matter but let me correct you by saying it does really matter and should be given a serious consideration and not just a cursory observation.
The less of Christ you see, hear or read the less you think of Him and the less you remember Him. This isn't just a happenstance, it is a purposeful and intended calculation, masterminded by the devil and implemented using his agents, to displace and minimise the name Christ.


Sunday - the 'new sabbath'? :

Sunday has become accepted as the 'new sabbath' by most christians and the whole world has come to recognise it as a christian holy day or holiday.

Whether indeed there's scriptural evidence for Sunday worship or not isn't my focus. Jesus said in John 4:24 KJV

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

True worship is in the spirit and not in the correctness of the day of worship. However I am more concerned with the deceptions surrounding the day Sunday itself.

Sunday historically is a pagan holiday set aside for the worship of the sun god. The ancient Roman Empire(having conquered the ancient Greeks) and under the influence of the Roman catholic church decided to adopt Sunday as the day for christian worship. It has been suggested that this act was done so as to encourage the conversion of pagans to christianity but I now have my doubts about that and with the benefit of hindsight, nowsight and foresight I strongly believe that this was done solely with the intention of corrupting true christianity.

If Sunday indeed is a holy day and the new sabbath then why isn't the day sanctified and respected as God's own day?

Most sporting events local national and international majorly take place and have their finals on a Sunday - World Cups, Tennis Opens and Grand Slams, Olympics, etc. Most festivities and celebrations unrelated and unconnected to God and christianity take place on Sundays. Sunday is more a day of fun and leisure(including shopping) than a day of worship.

Now when you carefully observe the activities of the world on Sundays it perfectly matches that of the ancient pagans - games in amphitheatres and coliseum, fun and celebration of their various gods. So this makes me believe that Sunday was made a holy day not to encourage pagans to become christians but instead to craftily lure christians and the rest of the world into paganism - unwittingly honouring and celebrating the sun god and its minions while supposedly honouring the one true God.


Christmas - commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ?

Like Sunday , Christmas has its origin and roots in paganism.

"It is considered likely the first Christmas celebrations were in reaction to the Roman Saturnalia, a harvest festival that marked the winter solstice—the return of the sun—and honored Saturn, the god of sowing. Saturnalia was a rowdy time, much opposed by the more austere leaders among the still-minority Christian sect. Christmas developed, one scholar says, as a means of replacing worship of the sun with the worship of the Son".
Most aspects and paraphernalia of Christmas - christmas tree, mistletoe, santa claus, etc - take their roots from the celebrations of the sun god.

Now even if we are to accept that the replacement of the worship of the sun with the worship of the Son - Jesus, is the true reason for the celebration of Christmas in christianity, there's an urgent need to reevaluate that supposition because of present realities.

Presently the central figure of christmas isn't Jesus but santa claus. No kid is taken to go see Jesus but santa is the hero of the season. One would be forgiven to think that christmas is the celebration of Santa's birthday.

Who exactly is this Santa Claus?

Myth has it that santa is modelled after a certain St Nicholas who presented poor kids with gifts at christmas, however even a roman catholic Pope instituted an investigative inquiry into the veracity of this claim with the findings of no such persons or deeds leading to the striping of the sainthood previously conferred on 'Nicholas'.
There has never been a 'St Nicholas' but there is a Satan Lucas which is the anagram of santa claus. In case you didn't know, Satan Lucas is the one you call devil.

So christmas is supposedly the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ but with Satan Lucas aka Lucifer as the do-gooder father of the season! How absurd!

As if this poignant displacement and usurping of Christ isn't sufficient, the entire christmas celebrations and festivities have been reduced to the same rowdiness as was the case with the Roman saturnalia - the worship and celebration of the sun.

If indeed christmas replaced the worship of the sun with the worship of the Son, I ask where is the worship of the Son in today's Christmases? The only achievement seems to be in getting the entire world to honour and worship the sun(on the day originally set aside for this) at the disregarding and expense of the worship of the Son - Jesus.
A christmas without Jesus at the centre is simply the observance of a pagan holiday and tradition.



Easter - the resurrection of Christ!?

The resurrection of Christ is the anchor of the christian faith. It is a sacred reminder to all of the eternal life in Christ.

Unfortunately even Easter wasn't spared the indignity of pagan corruption. Have you ever stopped to wonder what is the connection between the resurrection and eggs and rabbits? You should.

"The first thing we must understand is that professing Christians were not the only ones who celebrated a festival called "Easter."
"Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their(ancient pagans) gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god".

It is from this celebrations of Ishtar that the tradition of the easter egg was borrowed - something to enhance fertility. Like christmas and Sunday, the pagan aspects of what is called Easter in christianity has overshadowed the true christian significance of the actual event that easter is supposed to commemorate.
Easter is now more about bunnies and eggs than the resurrection of Christ - a return to paganism?

There are many other hidden pagan cultures and traditions still being maintained but in disguised form by the religious institutions and by extension the entire world that if you cared, and with a little research you'll find.


St Valentine's Day - a day of Love? :

Like the mythical St Nicholas, the authenticity of St Valentine has never been confirmed - all that there is are apocryphal stories trying to unsuccessfully justify February 14th as a holy day.

While the authenticity of St Valentine cannot be confirmed we have the origin of February 14th as a holiday.

"In ancient Rome, 13, 14 and 15 February were celebrated as Lupercalia, a pagan fertility festival. This seems to be the basis for a celebration of love on this date. It was marked in a subtly different way in those days, however. According to Noel Lenski, classics professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, speaking in the National Geographic, young men would strip naked and use goat- or dog-skin whips to spank the backsides of young women in order to improve their fertility; an early IVF, if you will."

A pagan holiday disguised as a commemoration of selfless love by a certain mythical martyr. Again say St Valentine truly existed and was martyred on this date, how is his martyrdom been commemorated today?
Needless to stretch the obvious but the celebrations of today's Valentine's Day is not any different to the "naked young men spanking the backsides of young women" of the pagan days. Consequently the world is made to celebrate Lupercalia on February 14th while thinking that they are indeed celebrating love.

Are we living in a pagan world?

My objective isn't to inform you about the origin of some christian holidays and festivals, rather it is to expose the ignorant practice of paganism in our world.

The devil's chief aim is to displace Christ in our lives and world and to institute(howbeit clandestinely and deceitfully) a worship directed to him.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

If peradventure the devil has succeeded in displacing and usurping the position of Jesus Christ in this world, has he also succeeded in displacing and usurping the position of Jesus in your heart and worship?

There are no christian pagans or pagan christians. Matthew 6:24 KJV No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

There are christians and there are pagans.
