Be Determined To Stick With It!

Nehemiah encountered just about every form of opposition imaginable in re-building the walls of Jerusalem. His enemies threw many things in his way to cause him to fail. But, in spite of every plan they could come up with, Nehemiah did not give up. He was determined to finish the project, and encouraged the people to do the same.   

Today, many of God’s people are facing some of the same challenges as Nehemiah did.  There may be some of you right now who are standing against plans to stop or stall your project, and yet, there may be others who have already given up because the challenges had become too overwhelming.   

My friends, just as the enemy is determined to prevent you from completing your project, you must be just as determined to stick with your project from the beginning to the end, no matter what. Giving up is always the easiest way out.  

I want to reassure you with encouragement that God does not want you to fail, or give up. That is why He has made Himself available to you, so you can talk to Him about any issues or concerns you have, that may be preventing you from completing your project. This is what Nehemiah did, he took his issues and concerns to God, and then he trusted God.   

From the beginning to the finishing of Nehemiah’s project, the gracious hand of God was upon him, guiding him and instructing him in handling challenges when they came. All Nehemiah did was trust Him and obeyed Him, because he was determined to finish his project, and he did.   May you like Nehemiah, be determined and successful in finishing your projects, trusting in the Lord every step of the way. Amen.
