Trust does not move at the speed of light; instead, it meanders. We tend to build trust in someone by the way of increments. Many place trust and confidence in others only to discover it has been misplaced and abused.
Due to these heartaches, victims become cautious and distance themselves in future relationships. One has to wonder if abiding love is an illusion. Mere affection burns brightly one day, then dies down to a smoldering flicker the next.
We live in a generation that rarely encounters love that surpasses the test of time. Have no fear; do not hesitate to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus. He honors our commitments and His unconditional love never wanes nor wavers.
