I have read 2 different post on "walking a mile in my shoes." One was bitter and the other sweet.
Here's my take on the matter, "You can not walk in my shoes nor can I walk in your shoes, because we ain't suppose to.
You see, God gave us all a different pair of shoes to walk in. Our lives and destiny's are different because God never made 2 people perfectly alike, not even twins, everyone of us is unique and special. God designed each person to be one-of-a kind because He loves diversity so much and wanted each one of us to have His special signature on us.
It just like our kids, they may have similar features, but widely ranging personalities...amen?
So remember, you were created unlike anyone else, and you are special to God.
People (including me) have tendency to look at the outside and the actions of a person, but God looks on the heart of a person, and remembers how special they are to Him.
Do not let the heartaches and failures in your life make you bitter, because it ain't over till it's over and as long as you have breath, hope for a better tomorrow is still alive.
Feed your hope and not your faults.
