Holidays
Love is a multifaceted miracle. At times, I most need a vibrant crimson love to serve as a reminder of Jesus supreme sacrifice. He draws me to repentance and renewal. Love also responds to my heart cries for tenderness.
The Holy Spirit selects soft shaded pastels from His creation pallet to bring comfort and reassurance. Recently, Christ splashed pink amidst sunsets. With protective embrace, He wraps me in the shelter of His arms. The heavens display His glory; [Psalm 19:1] His still small voice melts my heart.
He ‘loves me tender.’
As Son of Man, He identified with our deepest needs and demonstrated tenderness towards the multitudes.
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing (Matthew 23:37 NKJ)!”
Jesus tenderly extends the shelter of a protective mother and waits for me to scurry under His protective covering. He loves me tender. He loves me true.
