And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Matthew 14:29

If you feel like you are in the eye of the storm. Like chaos and disaster are all around you, like all things in your life are falling apart. Do not fear, do not be dismayed. For the Lord your God is there with you, in the midst of it all, speaking to your storm to stop, to be silent, to be stilled. Why do you worry, do you not know he is in control of it all? The storms come to destroy, but these are for your good, to destroy the old way, to break down the strongholds. In order for the new to come, the old must pass away. God is clearing a path, making a way in the wilderness, to bring forth healing and restoration. Embrace your storm, and see the captives set free, and the Peter’s walk on water. Be a water walker; keep your eyes on Jesus, not the storms blowing all around. When you feel like you are being blown all around, not able to stand on firm ground, the grace of God will keep you from sinking beneath the waves. Storms can come as quickly as they can leave. The day they hit, it destroys everything in its path. The very next day, you look to see all the damage done and then begin to rebuild. These storms come to break down the things in your life blocking your way to fulfilling your destiny. Walls need to fall in order for you to receive new revelations from God. Walls need to fall to break down doubt and build up faith. Being in the center of the storm is right where God wants you. He will use this storm to bring you to your suddenly. He is shifting things in your life, so you will arrive at your destination quicker. Ride the waves of your storm and you will end up right at the door of your promise land. Behold a new day has come!

Lord Jesus, I lift you up in the middle of the storm of their life. I pray for your grace to cover them as they step out upon the waters and begin to walk deeper in trust and faith. I pray for their eyes to be taken off the waves and onto you, Jesus. I pray during these storms, that you would destroy the old and the strongholds hindering them from entering them in to your promises. I pray every wall to fall that is blocking the way, and you would clear the path to make all things new and all things beautiful in its time. I pray for restoration and the new creation in Christ to spring forth. Lift them up in their trying times, and help them to ride the waves to their destination promise land. In Jesus name, Amen
