MY NEW BOOK: What God Says About An Apostate Church - what really could be wrong with the present state of the church!

The Making

While I was caught in the process of publishing this book, I was encouraged to go off my internet for almost three weeks so as to focus on the editing. It had a divine impact not only on me but on the entire Church of Christ because of the days ahead.
All of what is written in this piece isn't my own imagination but a compilation of words received in visions which the Lord revealed to me. These weren't received in just one day or week but many months, and it looked good to arrange them under general topics which rhymed with each of the messages or visions, so as to complete each chapters of the book.

Neither was the quantity of the book pages made too much on purpose nor was there any idea added besides that which the Lord permitted to be added, but the large quantity of the pages was a result of the words which the Lord gave about the Church, His bride and precious jewel whom He is coming to take from the earth to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Why Call Such A People Apostate?

Certainly, it wasn't my intention to ever write a book about the Church nor did I write against the Church but the title of the book was given by the Lord Jesus, when I was in His Presence on a particular day in November night when Brenda Hyde, my sister from Alabama, and I were in a thorough process of editing The Kingdom Children. This was my first book and was also published on smashwords.
Are all the people of Christ apostate? Of course not! There are so many who are serving the Lord with all their heart and aren't willing to leave Him a single moment and are ever ready for His coming. How then can they be apostate? Those whom the Lord was referring to as 'the apostate people' are thesame as those concerning whom Paul explained to Timothy, in 2 Tim. 3:1-7 KJV 'This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, everlearning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.'
And are there such a people in the Lord's Church today? Of course there are but some don't seem to understand that they are drifting from the true belief and teachings; the commandment, and life-style of Jesus which is written very clearly in scripture and is made alive in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. The Lord was never willing to have His people drift from His ways but He knew that such would come. That is why He kept speaking to His disciples that they must love one another as He loves them. And this in the actual sense explains that the reason for such apostasy is because we don't LOVE the Lord but are caught in other options which take our hearts off Him.

The Christians whom Jesus kept calling apostate are those who have substituted other things for Him, making them the idols of their hearts. John had explained this, saying that anything that serves as a replacement for the Lord in our hearts is an idol (1 John 5:21) and this in the general sense is what draws the hearts of men from following the Lord. As a result of lack of focus on Jesus, so many are getting absorbed to the worldly ways. It is harder to fight what is within us than to fight what is without, and this is also applicable to the lost Church.

In another conversation with the Lord (which is also recorded in this book), He mentioned this:
'My command is to love one another and not exclude the reality of loving your enemies. By 'love not the world', you must understand that I am saying to you that you must abstain from loving the world system. For the system of the world is always worldly and only those interested in the world will seek its system and become devored by it. Anyone who claims to love the system is in burning lust for it and will never try to conform to My plans and purposes... For I will judge you on how much you love and not how much you were loved! Therefore, love you must, if you want to reign with Me forever!
Miraculously, the world system have entered into the hearts of many believers to the extent that they aren't even willing to know Jesus more than they have, and those who are trying to obey Him are having other options next door which they seem to see as having more advantage than that which the Father desires. What the Lord wants us to do is to put Him first in our hearts and not 'next' and embrace His teachings about the Holy life.

Apostasy in this sense means going against the TRUE teachings of Christ and embracing something contradictory to all He taught His disciples and is saying to us today. Evenso, it isn't so alarming that the ROOT of apostasy in the Church isn't going to affect the outside to the degree to which it will affect the inside. And when such teachings of Christ are misinterpreted to mean a new concept and done away with to embrace another teaching, we can be sure that the degree to which the Church will stand as light of the world will be diminishing at a high rate and the extent to which division among the parts of the body will arise will also become gruesome.

A greater part of the Church have drifted from the teaching of Christ in the aspect of leadership. They follow a new kind, perhaps not new kind, of leadership teachings which is found no where in God's Spirit nor the Word. It's a redefined kind of leadership! No wonder Jesus stated (also recorded here from what I heard): '...Real leadership is of the Spirit! It is for great encouragement in Me! In this, there will arise no part of My Church that will be led by (self-ruled) man; for My Spirit will be the Head and Leader over all. He will lead My people through My servant-leaders! No man will dare lead his fellow, instead, his life will serve as an example to them, because he will live as an equipper of My people!'

The leadership which is spreading all over the Lord's Body is the kind where those who lead are always outfront the people, and the leaders are those who impose their religious laws on the people and whenever there's an error in the lives of the leaders, there will arise a possibility that many will also fall away from Him.

Confidently, I believe the kind of leadership which the Lord commanded His disciples was that of the servant-leaders who are there to serve the people and equip them, not leading them by imposing several laws on them in order to have them organized. If anything, it's the Spirit of God that dictates the way the children of Christ will meet and not some binding rules and regulations.
When His disciples asked about who the greatest among them was, He made it very plain to them that the one who is greatest among them is the one who is ready to serve. You see, it's not about outfronting the people but living a life which will serve as a good example to others.

How have the Church gone wrong in this? I am not a judge over any man and I can only say or write what I am permitted to. But I am sure that by redefining our own kind of leadership terms, we are certainly going against what Jesus taught.

IN THE DAYS AHEAD, NO FLESHY LEADERSHIP WILL EXIST! ONLY THE EQUIPPERS WILL BE KNOWN, JUST AS IT WAS WITH THE APOSTLES WHO EQUIPPED PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMES!

Is This Message For Every Believer?

Certainly, it is for all of us who believe in the Lord but we must know how to use these prophetic messages which are written here. We may exclaim, 'I am no apostate! It is not for me but for those who are drifting away!' I tell you that, you don't need to say such. Neither is it a must for you to read this nor is it by force that I write this. My intention isn't to have more people read them but to be faithful with what I am given. Therefore, as believers, when we see such messages from Jesus, we ought to 'pay attention and continue holding to Him' but if you are one of those who are caught in any of the errors which the Lord mentioned here about the lost people among His people who believe in Him and profess that they are Christians while they are replacing Him, along His teachings by their own theological concepts or adulterated teachings, I urge you to 'RUN TO JESUS AND LET HIM WORK ON YOUR HEART, and then turn away from all you had used to substitute Him.'

There's nothing good in ignorance but willingness in doing RIGHT is always best.
