Christian Living
I can’t find any references in the Bible that state that a Christian must attend church in order to be saved. James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” This verse does not say ask and it will be given to you while you’re attending church.
Church attendance may not be mandatory for your salvation, but God tells us that we should not neglect assembling ourselves together. Hebrews 10:25: “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
We experience spiritual growth when we pray, encourage, and support other believers. Hearing the Bible preached can help you find direction for your life. Attending church also gives us the opportunity to pray for the sick or those in need, and helps us cultivate Christian friendships.
Gathering with like-minded believers also helps us to draw closer to God as we worship together. Attending church is also a declaration to others that you are a Christian, and want to learn as much as you can about God.
My favorite part of the church service is the soul-stirring singing. When melodic voices and instruments unite in song, it feels like God is in the midst. Many times I’m still singing those hymns long after church is over.

Good article. I enjoyed reading it.
You are correct. God does not demand that His children go to a "traditional" church. Church, as we know them today, can be a complete turn off to many. And in many cases, it's no wonder with what is being taught...or better stated, not taught.
Fellowship with other Christians is important, however, the best fellowship in many cases, happens outside of "churches." Matt. 18:20
Let us not forget what Christ did out of a church in Jerusalem.
John 2:13 Not much different today.
Again, good article.
