I’ve always liked to walk, and it seems like I can never squeeze in enough time to really talk to God, so I decided to combine the two and take a God-Walk. It’s the perfect pick me up to sail through the tasks of the day.

Here are 4 benefits of taking a God Walk:

Stress Relief

My problems can seem overwhelming, and taking a God Walk allows me to talk them over with God, and I can feel the stress just melting away. No problem is too big or small for God, because He loves me and cares about what is going on in my life.

Cardiovascular Workout

Getting your heart rate up increases the blood circulation in your body, and also raises your metabolism. If you are trying to lose weight, cardiovascular exercise will help burn off the calories. Our bodies are the temple of God and it is our responsibility to keep them as healthy as possible.

Me Time

Women taking care of a home and family, not to mention working outside the home, don’t take enough time to do things they really enjoy. What better solution than a God Walk! As you stroll along, you can see God’s handiwork in the beautiful flowers and trees. Best of all, you are away from noisy distractions, and can enjoy the peace and quiet.

Pet Exercise

My dogs always enjoyed a walk, although it could be debated if I was walking them or they were walking me. All you need is a leash, and they’re ready to go. Regular exercise keeps your pet’s weight under control, helps reduce digestive problems and constipation, and wears them out so they sleep better at night. When you’re talking to God, don’t forget to give thanks for your pet.
